Problem:
Small dots ("artifacts") can be seen in the live view of the XL running analysis mat with or without pressure being applied from a person This can result in a faulty representation of the recorded steps:
- white lines around the foot
- dark stains around the foot
- foot is displayed too small
 
| Solution:
Remove everything that is underneath or on top of the XL mat (rug/carpet) and see if the dots are still visible.
Place the XL mat in a different spot. Make sure the surface is flat, even and cleaned.
Remove dirt, small pebbles, etc. The XL mat also should not show any wrinkles.
