shooIQ - Shoes data for fit recommendations
How we use shoes product information
Shoe data is used for recommending products to consumers on the shooIQ platform. The sales staff asks the consumers different questions and filters the offered shoes to the functional needs. After scanning consumers feet or capturing dynamic measurements, we rate shoes based on a comparison between customer and shoes data with what we call fitbars (for left and right). The shoes are then sorted by fit.

Each shoe with 3D last or shoes data can then be virtually tried on to give the consumer a visual impression, how good the shoe fits. The greener the shoe shape is, the more pressure between foot and shoe we expect.

What shoe information we store
Beside Product Name, Pictures, Size and different filter parameters (e.g. cleated or not for Football shoes), we store inside 3D Shoescans or digital last information.
We cooperate with brands to get these infos in the most convenient way and with minimal effort for them. Based on an agreement between corpus.e and a brand, the brand provide us with product master data (typically an excel file and product pictures) and digital last data or 3 sizes per shoe model to be scanned with our prorietary inside 3D shoescanner (ShoeDNA Scanner).
Where do we store the shoe data and how do we protect it
shooIQ protects brand shoes data on its digital platform by combining strict access control, encrypted data handling, and a security‑first infrastructure design. The platform isolates each brand’s data environment, ensuring that only authorized users can view or interact with sensitive performance metrics.
Our shoes data is stored in protected catalogs, where only registered shooIQ users have access for the purpose of size recommendations. Feetbox users have never direct access to store or export 3D shoe or last data.
All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and shooIQ continuously monitors its systems to detect anomalies or unauthorized access attempts. By distributing its infrastructure across resilient, geographically separated data centers, the platform maintains high availability and safeguards brand data even in the event of localized outages.
The shoes data is stored in our disaster-resilient datacenters from PlusCloud in Germany. Our datacenters have following certifications:
